About Explore Nova Scotia
Explore Nova Scotia was conceived back in 1996 as a personal project to display photographs of Nova Scotia. Initially the website consisted of only a few pages and photos, but over the years it has grown to include extensive Nova Scotia tourism and travel information. The website now welcomes over 1,000 visitors per day during the peak travel months.
The original Explore Nova Scotia website involved only a few static web pages which displayed various photographs from around the province. Over the years the site has evolved, expanded and taken on a life of it's own. Many of the features you now see on the site were suggested by visitors such as yourself.
The main focus of the website is to showcase the beauty of Nova Scotia through photographs that I have been collecting over the years... and to catalog the trails and attractions that I have visited. Each year I try to explore a little more of the province... by car, canoe, kayak or foot. There is a lifetime of exploration opportunities here in Nova Scotia.
