Destinations: Minas Basin
One of Nova Scotia's hidden treasures.  Follow the Glooscap Trail as it winds along the Minas Basin and offers a view of the world's highest tides.  Hunt for fossils and agates along the shore, or move inland to discover one of the many cascading waterfalls.

Walton Light Print Version
Walton Light Follow 101 west towards Annapolis Valley; exit right onto Hwy 215 and continue along Minas Shore. After crossing bridge in Walton keep sharp left and exit straight off road (which continues sharp right up hill) onto dirt road to wharf. Follow road to community park with lighthouse and nice looping trail to lookoff. Look for folks digging for clams on tidal mud flats at low tide.
