Cape George Light

From Halifax, take Hwy 102 to Truro, exit right onto Hwy 104 towards Cape Breton Island. Exit left on #27 just before Antigonish; keep left on road along coast through Arisaig to Cape George Point (just before Ballantynes Cove). Look for lighthouse sign and exit left onto unpaved road to lighthouse. Spectacular coastline view across St. Georges Bay of Cape Breton Island, notably the communities of Judique and Port Hood. Bring binoculars and look for eagles soaring along cliffs.
